Despite sexuality featuring throughout social work practice settings, many social work professionals have internalized socio-cultural taboos and so tend to avoid discussing sexuality in their practice. This workshop is designed to encourage social work practitioners to embrace rather than avoid issues of sexuality within their practice by incorporating the sexual dimension into the biopsychosocial assessment.
