Professor Dan Herman published by The Council on Social Work Education

The Council on Social Work Education has released a Curricular Guide for Addressing Homelessness, the newest addition to a series intended to provide curriculum tools for baccalaureate and masters’ social work programs nationally. The guide was created thanks to a partnership with the National Center for Excellence in Homeless Services, a consortium of schools of social work, and generous funding provided by the New York Community Trust. Professor Daniel Herman who heads the Center for Advancement of Critical Time Intervention at Silberman served on the National Taskforce Steering Committee that produced the guide and has played a leading role in the work of the national center over the last several years.

The guide includes resources that will help prepare future social workers to play a critical role in ending homelessness through effective leadership, research, and advocacy for evidence-based programs, housing supports, and state-of-the-art service provision.
